Do you love buffalo check as much as I do? I love it all year around at my house! I had been hunting for a buffalo check comforter for a good while and I finally found one on Amazon that I wanted to share with you all.

This comforter is so wonderful! First, I washed it and it washed up so well! The weight is perfect also, not too hot, not too cold. I loved it so much, I ordered another one for my family. The price is very affordable for a king size comforter.

Also needed was a set of new sheets. This hunt can be difficult because you want good quality, but not break the bank. I was so excited to find these mustard yellow color sheets that feel great and wash up very well! Amazon has been out of the mustard yellow, but offer many other color options.

Need a Little Fall Feel?

As a busy mom, I usually don’t decorate for the fall season in our bedroom, but love decorating for fall in our living room, outside and especially the front porch! In sharing about the comforter and sheet set find, I thought we could add a few new pillows to my existing orange pillows that I have had for YEARS! Don’t tell anyone, but they have flowers on the other side, but who can tell, right?

Plaid Pillow Covers

These plaid pillow covers are so fall cute! The gray and white plaid with a touch of mustard yellow with brown buttons look even better in person. They tie the gray from the comforter, mustard yellow walls and sheets all together. These are also an amazon find and they came in a set of 2.

Festive Fall Orange Pillow Cover

This orange rectangle pillow cover with “fall” written on it added just enough fall feel. This pillow was an odd shape so I did buy some cotton and stuffed it, super simple.

Faith Pillow

This Faith Pillow that my sweet mother-in-law got me usually sits in a side chair that I just love! I wanted to see how it would look with the fall pillow behind it. This was my favorite arrangement of the pillows! Comment below, which one do you like?

Starting my day with the Word of God helps me get grounded for the day ahead! One of my favorite devotionals is Jesus Listens and my most favorite is Jesus Calling, both by Sarah Young. I love to read a devotional, but I am learning that studying the Bible and having a quite time to hear God speak to me is also very important.

Use What You Have

Do you ever take from other rooms when you decorate? I love to do that! It is so amazing how one item will look completely different in another area. It also saves so much money and you have fun in the process!

Confessions

I don’t make my bed every day and it doesn’t bother me. If I have time, I will and it does motivate me to do more! Not pictured, a big pile of junk behind my bed! I told you, I am a work in progress. The good news is a lot of the junk is items that I need to drop off at the donation center.

Prayer

Dear Jesus, please help all the busy moms that are balancing so much! Help us to carve out a little time to make our home feel cozy and special. Thank you for the season of fall and all the beauty it brings. Help us to find your masterpiece each day as it truly is all around us. In Jesus name, Amen!
