2026 New Year How God Wants to Bless

2026 New Year, how God wants to bless! Where did 2025 go? As I reflect on this past year, the good, the bad, the hard, the miracles, all the things, what a year!

God has been working on me in so many ways…showing me things and teaching along the way. I am so a work in progress, but He uses the ordinary, if we will let Him.

There have been so many times this past year I didn’t understand why this was happening or how this was going to work out, but God always made a way, somehow and I thank Him for that….for all the blessings this past year!

The Verse – 2026 New Year How God Wants to Bless

“Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, ‘Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.’ And God granted his request.” (1 Chronicles 4:10, NIV)

The Blessing

Jabez prayed a prayer for God to bless him and because he believed in God and knew Him as his leader, his prayer was answered. Prayer is so powerful! I often forget when hard times come, to pray and let God do the rest.

After I have worried and tried to work it out myself and it fails, I remember, I just needed to pray and believe that He can and will take care of it, just like Jabez. He is only mentioned one time in the Bible, but what an amazing one time!

Do you feel bad asking for blessings? I do. But, should we? This year, I am going to be looking for all the blessings God has for me. As a mom, I want to bless my children and if I look at it from that perspective, I can understand it better.

Let’s help each other look for the blessings and not miss Him and His amazing ways!

Dear Lord, thank you for all that you have done for me and my family in 2025 and for those reading this post! I pray that next year, you will help us to believe in the power of prayer and that you do want to bless us in abundance! I love you, In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
