I Trust You God- Powerful Words To Pray When You Are Overwhelmed
I do know that when I don’t have a prayer, my prayer is simply…”I Trust You God.” Sometimes that is all I can get out is “I Trust You God!” I believe God blesses that prayer. He can see that even though the situation is hard, we are saying to Him that whatever happens, we trust Him. We have to remember in these tough times that He has never failed us, He always sees us through!
T- Timing
We can trust that even though we want an answer or a fix right now that His timing is perfect. I must say that when we are in the valley, this waiting on His perfect time is not what we want to hear. But during this time, we can’t see the puzzle that He is completing all on our behalf. He can and will do all the work for us if we will let Him.
How many of us, myself included, worry and worry and worry and then we realize that we have no other option but to turn it over to Almighty God for His help? When, if we had just trusted Him and left it at the foot of the cross that we wouldn’t have waisted all of those precious days on things that we can’t change or control. It is all part of the plan, His plan! To hold on a little longer, remember what he has brought you though most recently and know that this time, He will do the same.
R- Rest In His Word
He left us with an instruction book for this life for a reason, right? Oh, yes, the Bible. How many times do we try to fix the situation ourselves instead of pulling down His Word, reading what it says, His perfect promises? If we would rest in His Word, we could have the peace that He tells us about. I have experienced it before.
U- Understand
During the storms of life, we won’t understand. This is were we have to trust in Him and have the faith to know that one day we will understand. But, during this time of waiting, know that He has His very best in store for us.
S- Strengthened
You will be strengthened if you fight this battle with trust and faith in Jesus. He is our rock, our foundation, He will not leave us. When everyone else fails, He is still right there waiting for us to come back and talk (pray) with Him. He is ALL we need!
T- Thank Him
To show our true trust in Him, thank Him in advance for what He is going to do! That lets Him know that you know and believe that He is going to do something amazing. I sometimes forget about ALL the miracles that He performed in the Bible and all the miracles that He performs today. He can do anything, you know.

Lord, You are all that we need in this life. When our struggle is consuming us, taking over the joy that you promise, making our life a complete mess, know that when we don’t have a prayer to pray, We Trust You God! In Jesus name, Amen.
