How To Motivate Mom When She’s So Tired

How to motivate mom when she’s so tired? Can I say how some days, especially Monday, I struggle to get myself out of the bed. My alarm gets hit…..A bunch! How do we overcome this? We know coffee is a given so that is already on the brew! This girl has to have her coffee and creamer.

If you are not a coffee lover, you are still loved here. If you love hot tea or a soda in the morning, grab that and let’s go!

Now, let’s talk about what’s next on the agenda.

What outfit can we easily put on that gives us some comfort? Especially, when we’re not really feeling it?

Dress In Your Favorite Outfit

Do you ever wake up and feel like you can’t get up? Me too! What do we do? Well, this has worked for me so I wanted to share it with you. Put on your favorite outfit, the one that you feel good in and it fits just right.

For me, this outfit is a leopard print shirt that I have had for ever, its and oldie, but a goodie! If I am going into work that day, I will pair it with my black pants and my trusty old jean jacket. I can’t wear my jean jacket enough.

Until the cold weather hits, its me and old blue. I love the way they look! Sometimes if it is a bit colder than the jean jacket can handle, I will throw on a scarf with it.

If I am not going into work, I will throw on my favorite jeans. This is a great dress up or dress down outfit. Get it on and go! You have got this!

Wear A Pair of Decorative Socks- How to Motivate Mom When She’s So Tired

Wearing a cute, decorative pair of socks can make you just feel happy inside! The other night, I put on a pair of my Dollar Tree Christmas socks. They felt so good, not too hot and they had Santa on them. They were just perfect for the day to help me get going!

It wasn’t Christmas yet, but it was close and I just felt like wearing them, so I did! Do what makes you feel good inside.

Put On Your Favorite Earrings

I love big earrings! They can really make an outfit all come together! Get some of your favorites on and put your smile on and you are ready for an amazing day ahead!

Repeat Your Favorite Strength Verse- How to Motivate Mom When She’s So Tired

What strength verse do you repeat during hardship and exhaustion? As you may know, my strength verse is Philippians 4:13 NIV, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”  Just keep saying it through out your day.

If something is hard or lets say you drop that cup of coffee all over the place that morning…just repeat that verse while cleaning up the mess. It really does help get you through without loosing it!

Has this ever happened to you? Please share below, lets make us all feel better!

Read A Devotional

Reading a devotional or your Bible in the morning to start your day with God! He will guide our day and by reading His word, He will keep us on the right track.

My favorite devotional is Jesus Calling, by Sarah Young. There is something special about this one. It hits home in every devotion. They have ones specific to moms, teens, boys, graduates, all different offerings. The original is priceless.

Prayer- How To Motivate Mom When She’s So Tired

Dear Lord, thank you for always making a way when during tired seasons of life! Thank you for your amazing Word that we all can use each day to get us off on the right foot. Help us to remember the verses that speak to each of us in a special way so we can do ALL that you have called us to. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen!
