Items Needed
Dollar Tree hearts
Red velvet ribbon
Glue gun
Scissors

Where Can You Hang- Easy Dollar Tree Hearts For Your Doors This Valentine’s Day
Where can you hang these hearts? I purchased 3 hearts, 2 for my French doors and 1 for my kitchen window. I purchased 2 rolls of red velvet ribbon. Each roll had 1 yard on it. I decided to cut the one yard in half so that each heart that is being hung on the doors will be even. This will leave me 1 yard for the other heart to hang over the kitchen window. We can experiment to see which ribbon styles look the best! Try these at your home in any room to add just enough Valentine’s Day sparkle!
They also had pink hearts that were a matte glitter finish, very cute! But I had to go with the red ones because red is my favorite color.

Begin by cutting the little ribbon off that the wreath originally came with.

Sideways Option- Easy Dollar Tree Hearts For Your Doors This Valentine’s Day
I first turned the heart sideways and and attached the ribbon at the top of the curtain with a mini clothes pin. From far away, you can’t really tell they are holding it.

For another option, turn the heart over and glue the velvet ribbon to the back of the heart.

Hold down the ribbon on the glue until firmly attached. Be careful, the glue is Hot! Hot! Hot! Did I say Hot?

Straight Option- Easy Dollar Tree Hearts For Your Doors This Valentine’s Day
The heart is straight verses sideways and the velvet red ribbon is hanging from the top of the curtain, attached with the mini clothes pin, with the ribbon glued to the back of the beaded heart.

After placing a few times, I liked the hearts down further where the heart was hanging below the curtain. See what you think below!

Tied Option- Easy Dollar Tree Hearts For Your Doors This Valentine’s Day
The final style is a tied option. I took the whole yard of ribbon and tied a knot at the top of the heart in the middle. Next, I tied another knot at the other end, hung it, and let the excess ribbon hang.

The tied knot heart I placed over the kitchen window and I just love it!

Buffalo Plaid Curtains
You all know I love buffalo plaid. I added these little valances to our French doors and kitchen window. They were very reasonable and are really well made. The material is a flannel feel. Change the look of any room with these!
These beautiful, sparkling red hearts are so much fun to add to any space in your home! The red velvet ribbon added a high-end feel to this budget friendly, DIY, to add a little love to your home this Valentine’s Day.

A Few Thoughts:
When I think of “love” I can’t help but think of the Bible verses that are read so often at weddings. They are found in 1 Corinthians 13:4-13 NIV, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.”

God’s Amazing Love
God gave His very best to show us His amazing love. His Son. There is no greater love! His love is unconditional and available for anyone who believes.
John 3:16 NKJV says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
He gave it all, for you and for me. Thank You Jesus!
