The best thrift shopping ideas! How exciting, how amazing it is to go thrift shopping and find a whole new wardrobe. AND the beauty of these great finds is it didn’t break the bank, it was fun and it really brought a sense of joy when we found these treasures.

I really didn’t get into thrift shopping until a few years ago. We started going thrift shopping at some great shops while we were at the beach. I would find some name brand, really good items and it was so great!

Each thrift shop has a unique organization. Ask questions or look around at the signs to learn each store. For example, one store that is my most favorite, it has a rack that is nothing but brand new items with tags. On select pieces, they are priced higher, but they are worth it.

Another rack in this store offers items that have been there a while and they are marked way down. I have to check this rack out for sure!

Are you like me and feel guilty when I splurge on clothes for myself? As a mom, I love getting a new shirt to switch up my wardrobe, it helps the mood. You can treat yourself while thrifting and it not bust your budget!

Mom & Daughter Time

My daughter and I love to go together and thrift shop! Watching her shop and find good deals is so much fun! She knows what to look for and has really found some neat finds over the years.

This year, she needed a Halloween costume, so we went thrifting, found what we needed and saved a ton of money!

I was also needing a nice bookbag. Since it was not during back to school season I was struggling to find one. This store had a brand new, nice bookbag! I was so excited! It was $10, but totally worth it.

Be sure to always wash these treasures. You never know where the items have been or come from. I always just make it a good rule to put it in the washer and be safe.
